Friday, February 5, 2010![]() It keeps snowing and then melting the next day... although this weekend it's predicted to snow a little harder than normal. Maybe it will snow enough to cover all the goose crap covering the hill I have to walk across every morning. Damn geese. ![]() Geez what was I thinking when I drew this? Probably not much. I must not have been THINKING much at all because this week I've done worse with classes than with people and that pretty much never happens. Quick stuff in Illustrator always looks like it took way longer than it really did. Because there's less white space, I guess. Who is she... an old friend of Chase's. I don't draw her much because she isn't especially active :/ or usually well dressed so this is kinda weird. If you could call that well dressed. My school's 'Hell Week' is coming up, it's kind of like a week long April Fools for freshmen. I dunno if I'll be carrying out any punishments/pranks but it should be fun to watch... it's gonna be freezing, hopefully if I do get some they won't be clothing related. ![]() The first one was actually done in Photoshop, something I don't draw in that often anymore. I was digging around for the brush I used to do painting style things, this one was pretty close but the edges are too sharp. Huh look it's Patches. I'm starting to get a little worried that I don't have any goals. A lot of people are thinking of doing intern/externships or are already doing courses for their major. I don't have a major preference or anything. And I'm sucking at the subjects I pick so all I really know is what I don't want to do... I think I said this about IB. How to people decide what they want to do? All I want so far is something that will quickly get me to a point where I don't have to do anything at all. That's retirement I think. Or death, preferably not, since that means I probably won't enjoy that point where I can just do nothing and that defeats the purpose. ![]() This is... I don't know. Couch potatoes. ![]() ![]() I like these colors. You can kinda tell since I use them a lot. The first one is all over GD's layouts and stuff. Ugh this is boring. Also drew this picture. Uhh some characters might look familiar. Anyway it was also kind of an experiment, I've been using highlighter to do guidelines and then doing actual lines in pen because my pencil lead has been smudging like crazy. I was wondering how that would go on the computer. Of course it isn't a problem to do guidelines on the comp anyway since it never smudges and you just delete the layer :/ This weekend I was away at NY to see family again... weekend travel kind of sucks, there's only one day to actually do anything... Next vacation is in March I think. That means midterms are still standing between now and then. Midterms and a whole lot of of other stuff, uggh. Oh no, look out I'm using align tags. Which means I have to try to take up space so the image doesn't push around the entry separator. ![]() Old triplet characters :P Hmm, haven't drawn these guys in a while. Their hair is always kind of hard for me to draw, even after ALL THESE YEARS... So far this term has been going pretty well, although it's probably harder than the last one. I have an at least a page of essay to write every day (the topic varies, although it's almost always for English class.) ![]() Speaking of old characters... One I don't really do much of anymore. Uh... I really like white hair. Also I noticed my files were so small back then! 300 x 400? geez. ![]() ![]() I tried to draw a picture in the style I had when I first started using Photoshop... I think those kinds of pictures were done with the tablet and pen tool, which is weird because I never do that anymore. I also don't have many brushes :/ I actually had to go and download a swirl set to make this pic look a bit like the old ones. Also I wonder why Beta used to be completely black. Also he had these weird side wing things (that don't really show in the new or old pictures). Alpha is just... I dunno, he turned totally white. edit: changed the header. There are fewer embarrassing buttons now. |
